Fall Festivities

Here's what we've been up to over the past few months. Life has been crazy over the holidays and in preparation for this new baby! We (mostly me) are hoping she will make her debut any day.
We spent Thanksgiving with Matt's parents in Salt Lake. It was great to be with family and enjoy such excellent food! After spending the day in Salt Lake, we headed to Holden to cut Christmas trees with my family.

We spent Halloween with Matt's family. It was a day full of festivities. We started the day at Gardner Village to see the witches. The kids loved the scavenger hunt and the decorations. Afterwards we headed to a pumpkin patch where everyone was able to pick a pumpkin. We all went back to Matt's parents where we carved pumpkins. Everytime Matt would ask Maggie what she wanted on her pumpkin all she would say was pink. She was going through a pink phase. So being the awesome dad that he is- he made it happen! After the pumpkin fest it was time to get into costumes! We weren't able to sneak a nap in during the day, so by this point Mags was on meltdown mode. She was the MEANEST kitty around. After some trick or treating, we headed home and she slept awesome that night! It was a great day.

This is a few random pictures over the past couple of months. They include Maggie's first princess party, canning fest 2009, playing at the park with friends, sleeping in the Wal mart cart, time with dad, and my personal favorite- Matt's attempt to dress Maggie. ( Note that her shirt is on backwards) His response when I started to laugh was that all of his shirts button down the front! Love it.

We were able to take a trip to the cabin this fall. It was beautiful weather and Mags enjoyed the great outdoors!

That about covers September, October & November. I'm working on a Christmas/New Years post. Stay tuned....
